Dentist

Robert Tentler D.D.S.

Dr. Tentler is a Chicago native who has been providing quality dental treatment and dedicated patient care to patients from all walks of life for many years.

Dr. Tentler completed his doctor of dental surgery at Loyola University after which he finished a general practice residency at Cook County Hospital Chicago. Dr. Tentler completed his anesthesia residency training at the University of Illinois Hospital Chicago and is a Diplomat of the American Dental Board of Anesthesia. He is also the current acting president of the Illinois Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Tentler is uniquely trained in providing office-based anesthesia in both IV Sedation and General Anesthesia. His practice features a strong focus on treatment for numerous categories of patients including:

Physically and mentally challenged adults and children
Patients with dental phobia and fear/anxiety issues
Individuals with an aversion to needles and/or the sound of drills
Patients suffering from a strong gag reflex
Patients requiring extensive dental treatment that must be accomplished same day under IV Anesthesia

Dr. Tentler is an avid skier who also enjoys snorkeling and fishing. He also enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and gourmet cooking.

Dr. Matthew Pearce D.D.S.

Dr. Matt Pearce is a General Dentist who's practice is focused on patient needs, no matter how simple or complex. He enjoys open discussions to understand every individual's specific needs.

Together with you, he creates a unique treatment plan with options to accomplish your optimal personal goals. He prides himself on leading a family centered practice that accepts patients of all ages. Dr. Pearce has advanced training and certification in IV Sedation and oral conscious sedation. Compassionate and genuine care for his patient's well-being together with IV sedation greatly reduces challenges with dental treatment that many of us face.

An Orland Park native, Dr. Matt graduated from Carl Sandburg High School. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago with honors and graduating Summa Cum Laude. He completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the UIC College of Dentistry. As a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and Spear Education Study Group he is always advancing his clinical skills through continuing education. Dr. Pearce is also a board member of the Illinois Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

In his spare time Dr. Matt is an ultra-marathon runner, snowboarder, and mountain bicyclist. When not out adventuring, he enjoys cooking, playing guitar, and spending quality time at home with his family here in Orland Park.

Renee is the Office Manager at Southwest Dental Group and has been a trusted leader within the practice for over 15 years. She began her career as a dental assistant and advanced into management, giving her a strong foundation in both clinical operations and team leadership.
